Homeland Heart Community Based Doulas are contracted immediately upon completion of training. This means that you will likely be assigned to a client family by the last day of your training. In addition, Homeland Heart Doulas are expected to be an active part of the organization in an effort to make the largest impact we can on our community. This includes attending various community and in-house events. If you are unable to begin your birth work journey so soon, we ask that you wait until the next opportunity comes around.
Because of the sensitive nature of some of the topics covered in training, we also ask that you delay your application if you have given birth within the last 18 months.
Program Details:
Class will meet on Saturdays from 9a - 3p, beginning April 18, 2026. Please plan to attend each session in-person, as there will not be a virtual option available. Your total investment of $1,200 covers the cost of all supplies and texts you will need to succesfully complete the cohort and begin work as a Doula. Payment plans are available upon request.
